WHS Host 9th Annual Apprentice Challenge

Waterford High School not only hosted the 2017 Apprentice Challenge, but they competed, bringing their “A” game and finishing is 2nd place! Olivia Podeswa, Annie Hodge, Tessa Dippallina, Molly Kosma, Jacob Roy, and Lindsey Branche all participated in the event. They worked hard and presented a thougtful and creative marketing plan to The Norwich Arts Center. Though they did not win, they should be proud of their efforts!

WHS Business Students Compete in the 8th Annual Apprentice Challenge

Four WHS Business students, Zina Secchiaroli, Lizzie Dowds, Lindsay Branche, and Jude Hage competed in the 8th Annual Apprentice Challenge on Tuesday, March 15th hosted by NFA. The students had 4 hours to plan and present a marketing plan for a local business, “Small Potatoes” located in Yantic, CT.

They wowed the judges with their ideas and public speaking skills and are hoping to take home first place next year! Overall they did a great job and should be proud of themselves!!!

WHS is having a competition with all the advisories to get supplies for the New London Homeless shelter! The first advisory to gather all the supplies listed, and the correct amounts of supplies, wins a breakfast during their advisory! Donations will be taken to the homeless shelter by Friday, December 11th.
